弯曲光子学波导定向耦合器

The directional coupler based on the curved photonic waveguides

摘要 采用数值模拟的方法,利用光束传输法(BPM)研究了光波在弯曲型光子学波导耦合器中的动力学传输规律。发现波导的折射率调制深度、耦合器之间的间距、每个波导的弯曲振幅都对光波的传输行为有很大的影响。此结果为利用弯曲波导调节和控制光波传输,实现全光开关和定向耦合器提供了新的思路和方法。 The propagation dynamics of the light waves is studied numerically in the curved waveguide coupler.Beam propagation method (BPM) was used to investigate the light behavior in the coupler.The results show that the refractive index modulation,the separation between two waveguides and the amplitude of the curved waveguide all affect the dynamics of the light wave in the coupler.The results can be used to guide the study on the light controlling and manipulation in curved waveguides,and provide new ideas and method for all-optical switch and directional coupler.
