摘要
"媚"在中国美学史上作为一个边缘性的美学范畴,徐渭却将其审美品格提升为超越其他美学范畴的最高审美趣味和审美理想,这在中国这样一个情不越理的国度是弥足珍贵的。通过对徐渭道教渊源的考察以及"媚"范畴本身的特点与道教审美取向相比较,探究徐渭视"媚"为最高审美品格的道教影响因素。
“Mei” (enchanting) is a marginal aesthetic category in China' s aesthetic history, but Xu Wei regards its aesthetic char- aeter as the highest aesthetic taste and aesthetic ideal, which is highly precious in such a country as China where reason is inclined to surpass emotion. By examining Xu Wei' s Taoist origin and the characteristics of “Mei” category and the Taoist aesthetic orienta- tion, the paper explores the Taoist factors via which Xu Wei views “Mei” as the highest aesthetic character.
