随着经济全球化及中国对外贸易的迅猛发展,商务话语研究,特别是商务英语信函话语策略日益成为专门用途英语研究中的重点。基于对真实语料的分析,从目的原则视角下,对商务英语信函策略进行研究,有助于正确地认识策略的起因、动力和依据,从而说明商务英语信函本质上是一种能动的、有目的、有策略的话语形式。

With the globalization of economy and the rapid development of export in China,business discourse,especially strategies in Business English Correspondences,have increasingly been the focus in ESP researches.Based on discourse analysis of authentic correspondences,the study of strategies in Bus-iness English Correspondences from the perspective of goal can contribute to the understanding of rati-onale,driving force and basis behind the strategies.Therefore,it can be revealed that the essence of Business English Correspondences is an initiative,purposeful and strategic process.
