"Ultrasonic wave" Movement in the Pharmaceutical Industry during the period of the "Great Leap Forward"

在"大跃进"期间,中国制药行业曾在"超声波化"运动中大量制造土超声器并广泛应用于各个领域,但是并没有取得预期的成效。从技术的角度看,单个项目没有取得成效是因为没有同时符合科学性、技术性、经济性的要求,而整个行业的运动没有取得成功,主要原因并不是通常认为的虚假浮夸,而是一系列技术政策的失误。

During the period of the ' Great Leap Forward' Chinese pharmaceutical industry manufactured lots of local ultrasonic machines which were widely used in various fields in the 'Ultrasonic wave' Movement,but it did not achieve the expected results.From the technical point of view,single project hadn't got success because it was not consistent with the scientific,technical,economic requirements simultaneously,but the movement of the whole industry hadn't got success mainly because of a series of mistakes of technical policy,but not usually considered false and exaggeration.
