Based on chemistry education and the latest trend of today＇s science and technology development, the contents of experiments and innovation of chemistry textbooks were extended to form a school-based textbook for science and technology education. The teaching material features certain characteristics for middle school science and technology education, such as target system, content system and evaluation system. It will stimulate students＇ inter- ests in adoring, learning and using science and improve their scientific literacy.
