摘要
现代网络计算环境和高性能应用程序经常要求根据通信方向、通信内容以及通信时机使用多种通信底层、传输机制及各种不同的协议。本文详细介绍了利用 Nexus通信库在元计算应用中实现多种通信方法的技术 ,着重论述了支持实现多方法通信的通信链接和远程服务请求机制 ,同时指出了可能产生的问题和解决方法。
Modern networked computing environm ents and high-perfomance applications often require the use of multiple communi cation substrates,transport mechanisms,and protocols chosen according to where c ommunication is directed,what is communicated,and when communication is performe d.By using the Nexus library,we propose techniques that allow multiple communica tion methods to be supported transparently in a metacomputing application.We exp lain how communication links and remote service request mechanisms facilitate th e implementation of multimethod communication,and illustrate solutions to variou s problems that arise while implementing multimethod communication.
