上海12岁儿童正畸治疗需求的调查分析

Survey and analyze of orthodontic treatment demand among 12 years old children in Shanghai

目的调查上海市12岁儿童的正畸治疗需求,并对结果进行分析。方法选取上海5个区共1100名未经任何正畸治疗的12岁儿童作为调查对象,采用现场调查方式,用正畸治疗需求指数(IOTN)中的合学组分(DHC)从客观角度对儿童的正畸治疗需求进行评定,对不同性别儿童的IOTN指数进行χ2分析。结果上海12岁儿童错合畸形的发生比率较高,大多数儿童都需要进行正畸治疗(IOTN指数中第4与第5级的比例达到36.3%),正畸治疗需求在不同性别之间的差异并不明显。结论上海作为一个国际大都市,尽管近些年在经济水平上有了显著提升,但儿童错合畸形的发生比例仍偏高,作为医务工作者,我们需要在错合畸形的预防上投入更多精力。

Objective This research was designed to analyze the orthodontic treatment demanding in Shanghai 12 years old children.Methods We collected 1100 children of 12 years old never had any orthodontic treatments before in five districts of Shanghai.DHC of IOTN was calculated to assess the orthodontic treatment demanding among these children.Chi-square analyze was used for IOTN with deferent gender.Results Malocclusion in Shanghai 12 years old children was quite common.Most children needed to get the orthodontic treatment （the percentage of children with degree 4 or 5 of IOTN is 36.3％）.0rthodontic treatment need in different gender showed no obvious difference.Conclusion Shanghai,as a big international city,develops quickly in economic level in these years,but the occurrence rate of malocclusion in children is still quite high.As dentists,we need to focus more on the prevention of malocclusion.
