李文渊《左传评》对方苞评点的继承与超越

On Li Wenyuan's Inheriting and Transcending of Fang Bao's Commentary on Zuo Zhuan

以方苞为代表的桐城派学者非常重视对《左传》的学习,总结《左传》特有的文法。方苞评点《左传》以义为经,以法为纬,注重对《左传》文章段落结构分析,这种独特评点方式在当时具有极大的影响力。李文渊师事方苞,他对《左传》的评点在很多方面都与方苞一脉相承。当然李文渊的评点也有独特之处,他更加注重从篇法的角度梳理出《左传》在段落上的起承转合关系,他的《左传评》在遣词造句方面的分析也比方苞深入。

Tongcheng scholars, especially Fang Bao attached great importance to studying and summarizing special grammar in Zuo zhuan. He commented Zuo zhuan under the guides of morality and rule,and focused on the article paragraph structure. His commentary on the unique way had great influence on others at that time. Li Wenyuan followed Fang Bao,his commentary on Zuo Zhuan was in the same strain of Fang Bao＇s. Of course,Li Wenyuan＇s commentary had its own feature. He focused on finding particular structures in article,explained the relationships between two paragraphs and gave more analyses on using vocabularies.
