The paper analyzes the actual conditions of code - switching of the ethnic college students through the actual investi- gation and study, emphatically analyses the characteristics of code - switching in the style and rhetorical features, and pointed out that code - switching has the following rhetorical functions ： graceful and euphemistic, articulate, respond appropriately, humorous, adjust atmosphere, highlight, and novel and chic expression effect so on.
