汉英量名结构的隐喻研究

On Metaphors of Classifier-Noun Structures in Chinese and English

汉英量名结构中均存在隐喻现象。研究发现,当涉及概念隐喻时,汉英量名结构之间存在较多共性;而当运用本体隐喻计量事物时,汉英在量词甄选上表现出较大差异。由此,在量名结构的英汉翻译中,译者应遵循一定的策略。

This paper mainly probes into the metaphorical classifier-noun structures in both Chinese and English, finding that when conceptual metaphor is concerned, the Chinese classifiernoun structures and English ones have much in common. However, when it comes to ontological metaphor, the two languages present many differences in the choice of classifiers. At last, some strategies are put forward in the translation of English metaphorical classifier-noun structures.
