In the pursuit of beauty, goods packaging designs are becoming more and more sophisticated and luxurious, so that such issues of environmental protection and sustainable development as the recycling, processing and reusing of waste packaging materials have drawn great attention from more and more designers, enterprises and consumers. This paper explores ＂the recovery of original simplicity＂ in the packaging design for the green environmental protection and sustainable development from different dimensions including the pursuit of design thought, the research of packaging materials, and the conceptual building, promotion and popularization.
