Pharmaceutical care for a child with epilepsy by clinical pharmacists

目的采用治疗药物监测技术为患儿提供合理的抗癫痫个体化治疗方案。方法通过参与癫痫患儿的治疗过程,结合治疗药物监测和高效液相色谱法,分析药物不良反应及药代动力学特点,调整抗癫痫药物的使用。结果与结论患儿病情稳定出院。临床上可结合抗癫痫药物药代动力学特点,在治疗药物监测技术的指导下,提高抗癫痫治疗的有效性和安全性。

Objective To provide reasonable individualized treatment plan for children with epilepsy by therapeutic drug monitoring technolo- gy. Methods The pharmacist participated in the treatment of epileptic children to adjust oxcarbazepine medication by the analysis of adverse drug reactions and pharmacokinetic characteristics, using therapeutic drug monitoring and pharmaceutical analysis methods. Results and Con- clusion The patient was discharged in stable condition. Under the guid- ance of therapeutic drug monitoring combined with the characteristics of pharmacokinetic, anti- epileptic treatment can be improved on efficacy and safety in clinical practice.
