Problem-based learning in the clinical practice period:guidance to the theses of the medical imaging technique major

摘要 目的探讨以问题为基础学习( problem-based learning,PBL)教学对医学影像技术专业临床实习阶段毕业论文撰写指导的应用价值。方法南京医科大学第二附属医院影像科对南京医科大学康达学院医学影像技术专业本科班实习学生实施PBL教学,指导其毕业论文撰写。将学生毕业论文答辩成绩与该班级同一阶段在其他医院实习、未经PBL教学指导学生的论文成绩进行对比分析,并抽取康达学院学生平时成绩与他们的论文成绩做相关性分析。结果将实施PBL教学指导的学生和其他学生的论文成绩进行Wilcoxon秩和检验分析, Uc 值为10.0603,uc 〉2.58,P〈0.01,两者差异具有统计学意义,接受PBL教学指导的学生毕业论文质量较高;他们的平时成绩与论文成绩相关系数r=0.383,P〉0.05,两种成绩之间没有直线相关关系。结论在临床实习阶段,通过PBL教学的介入,可以高效地指导医学影像技术专业学生毕业论文的完成,极大地提高了该专业学生自主学习和解决问题的能力。 Objective To investigate the value of PBL in guiding the graduation theses of the medical imaging technique major in the clinical practice period. Methods PBL pattern was conducted with the undergraduate interns of Kangda College of Nanjing Medical University of the school year 2010-2012. With medical imaging technique being their major, the students were sent and tutored in the Medical Imaging Department of 2nd Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University. Their results of thesis oral defense were compared with the results of thesis oral defense of other classmates, who interned at other hospitals without PBL, by statistical analysis. A relativity analysis was conducted between the synthetical grades of daily performance of the undergraduate interns in 2nd Affiliated Hospital and their results of oral defense. Results The Wilcoxon' s Rank Sum Test was adopted to assess the thesis grades of the undergraduate interns, including those in 2nd Affiliated Hospital and in other hospitals. The result was "uc = 10. 0603, uc 〉2.58 and P〈0.01 ". The differences showed statistical significance: The quality of theses written by the undergraduate interns with PBL in 2nd Affiliated Hospital was higher than that without PBL in other hospitals. The correlation coefficient (r) between the synthetical grades of daily performance of the undergraduate interns in 2nd Affiliated Hospital and the results of their theses was 0. 383, and P was O. 245. There was no relation of linear correlation (P〉0.05). Conclusions The undergraduates, who were guided by PBL pattern in the clinical practice period, can complete the graduation theses with efficiency and greatly improve their ability of autonomous learning and independently solving problems.
