The principles and methods put forward by Zhou Enlai on vocational education is the ones that we must follow when conducting vocational education, which is guided by Marxist theory on education, based on the experience and lessons in vocational education. We should act in the following aspects such as conducting the work based on practical situations, conducting education on both technology and morality, realizing consistence between theory and practice, and so on. The principles and methods provide important thoughts and framework for us to understand vocational education conducted in the early period since the P.R.C. was founded. In the meanwhile, they also provide theoretical guidance and practical reference for contemporary development of vocational education.
