Misreading: The Early Introduction of Naturalism in China

自然主义,作为一种文学思潮,于20世纪初年登陆中国,并于新文化时期和其他西方文学潮流一样得到了较为广泛的绍介和提倡。然而,与现实主义、浪漫主义和现代主义的运命不同,自然主义很快遭遇冷落。本文试图描述自然主义在中国的早期传播过程中存在的多重误读,以对此现象进行反思。

Naturalism,the popular trend of thought throughout the world at the end of the 19thand the beginning of the 20thcentury,was widely introduced into China around the May Fourth Movement. Unfortunately,it became quiet soon, compared with realism and romanticism regarded as the currents,modernism recommended and advocated widely. This paper mainly talks about the phenomena of misreading in the early propagation of naturalism in China,in order to reflect its adversity.
