摘要
孝的核心内涵是孝养、孝敬父母,尊崇、祭祀祖先,以及继志述事、光宗耀祖。除了伦理的、政治的功能之外,孝道在传统社会还发挥着宗教的功能,是人们安身立命之依托,体现出其独特的宗教意蕴。从宗教的层面厘清孝道的本质,对于现代孝道的重建具有十分积极的作用。
The key connotations of filial piety are taking good care of and respecting the parents , and honoring and offering sacrifices to the ancestors so as to inherit ancestors＆#39;ambition and to make us being proud of . Besides its moral and political functions , filial piety also plays the religious role in Chinese tradition . From religious perspective , clarifying its essence has positive significance for reconstruction of modern filial piety .
