An Analysis of Chinese Traditional Women's Filial Piety: Taking Nv Xiao Jingas an Example

孝是中国传统道德之首德。《女孝经》规定了女子孝道的责任范围及道德规范。唐朝以后,《女孝经》成为民间教育女子的重要修身教科书之一,对后世(特别是明清时期)女子教孝产生了很大的影响。分析《女孝经》中关于传统女子孝道的主要内容和特点,对现代女性孝道教育与实践具有启示作用。

Filial Piety is the most important virtue of Chinese traditional moral . Nv X iao Jing specifies the area of responsibility and moral norms of women＇s filial piety . After the Tang Dynasty , Nv X iao Jing ,which had a very great impact on women＇s filial piety education in later generations ,became one of the most important women＇s self-cultivation textbooks in the folk . Rules of women＇s filial piety and filial conduct in Nv Xiao Jing ,play an enlightening role in filial morality education and practice of women in modern time .
