Separation from the Masses Erodes the Basis of the Party's Administration

群众路线是中国共产党在革命战争年代形成的处理党群关系的完备科学的历史唯物主义理论。进入新世纪,党群关系面临着新的挑战。随着改革进入深水区,社会公平成为人民关注的焦点,人民群众对党有着更高的政治期待,能否实现社会公平成为检验党群关系的试金石,而脱离群众是党面临的最大危险。走群众路线,在新世纪新条件下建立新型党群关系。从人民群众根本利益出发,中国共产党要敢于触动日益固化的既得利益集团的利益,继续推进各项改革,保证中国梦的全面实现。

The mass line,forged during the revolutionary years,is the CPCs complete scientific histori- cal materialistic theory of handling the ties between the Party and the masses. In the new century,the Par- ty-mass relationship is confronting new challenges. Along with the progress of reform, the masses are pay- ing more and more attention to social justice and pinning higher political expectations on the Party. In a sense,the realization of social justice has become a touch-stone of evaluating the Party-mass relationship, hence the separation from the masses the biggest danger for the Party. To continue to follow the mass line is to set up a new type of Party-mass relationship in the new era. To fulfill this, the Party has to continue to push forward the reforms to realize the Chinese dream,standing on the position of masses,daring to touch the vested interest of the vested interest groups.
