The basic piano course in normal colleges is not very easy for students to learn and for teachers to teach. In order to deal with this issue and to make teaching more interesting so that students can experience an educational, rewarding and pleasant piano course, piano duet is systemati cally introduced into basic piano course in normal colleges. What should be paid attention to in the classroom is to choose right partner; to select great tracks; to strengthen the practice of initial sound so as to stress the force of music performance, and to properly apply pedal.
