摘要
陈荣捷曾与日本学者辩论太极观念对于朱子理论体系是否为不可无,本文呼应、接续了陈文。文章首先分析了朱子《太极解义》中的体用说,提出,朱子运用体用范畴来定位太极与阴阳关系,其说虽承自二程,但又有自己的发展,这主要体现在他对体用关系有先后之分的强调上。其次,作者考察了朱子太极思想与邵雍、张载的关联,指出《易学启蒙》明显采用了邵雍之说,论文还分析了朱子关于太极是气的一条语录,指出其与张载对《易传》"参两"思想阐释的相似之处,所有这些旨在加深对于朱子太极思想来源复杂性的认识。
Wing-tsit Chan had ever debated with a Japanese scholar that the conception of the Great Ultimate was not unimportant for Chu His's theory. This paper supports and develops Chan's view. The author firstly analyses the doctrine of substance-function in Chu His's Explanation on the Diagram of the Great Ultimate, hold-s that Chu His not only inherits but also develops the theory of Cheng Brothers as he emphasizes the order between substance and function. Secondly, the author investigates the correlations among Chu His's doctrine of the Great Ultimate and Shao Yong and Zhang Zai, which shows the complexity of the origin of Chu His's theory.
