通过文献法查阅太虚拳相关历史资料,实地调查访谈广东省江门市外海太虚拳传承人,基本理清外海太虚拳的历史渊流与传承脉络。主要结论:外海太虚拳是武当内家拳种,溯其源由武当张三峰所创,历经宋、元、明,后传入清代皇宫。咸丰年间,因"陈皮拳缘"留得江门市外海太虚拳一脉。自从清朝晚期,伍荣羽之"陈皮拳缘"到当前发展的"枝繁叶茂",太虚拳传承脉络清晰,在挖掘保护中持续发展。
