England has been laying great emphasis on hidden moral education,which permeates everywhere to foster morality. Based on the educational history of English schools,the essay analyzes the characteristics of hidden moral education and puts forward four mechanisms including integration of various forces,subject internalization through connotation enrichment,situational experience in practice and interaction between teachers and students,which will provide guidance for moral education of higher learning.
