摘要
概念隐喻理论认为:隐喻具有普遍性、系统性的特点,并具有一定的特定文化的特征。因此,通过学习概念隐喻,可以改变学生的语言学习习惯和思维方式,让学生可以系统性地理解语言;还可以通过对英汉概念隐喻的比较学习,提高学生的跨文化意识和跨文化交际能力。
The conceptual metaphor theory thinks that metaphor has the features of universals and systematic and also has some specific cultural characteristics. Therefore, by learning conceptual metaphor, the students' habit of language learning and the ways of thinking could be changed so that the students can systematically understand the language. The students can also improve their intercultural aware- ness and intercultural communicative competence through the comparative study of English and Chinese conceptual metaphor.
