衡州花鼓戏的历史沿革

On Historical Evolution of Hengzhou Huagu Opera

衡州花鼓戏是湖南省湘南地区的民间小戏剧种,迄今已有200余年的发展历史。它与灯会、采茶、傩舞有着密切的联系,是劳动人民勤劳智慧的结晶。衡州花鼓戏不仅在省内湘南地区流行还流布于外省的赣西部分地区,也曾流布于粤北的韶关、乐昌、坪石。从1950年至1980年,衡州花鼓戏各剧团共创作、改编并正式演出的剧目有257出,对当时的社会发展起到了积极的作用,极大地满足了城乡人民的文化生活需求。

Hengzhou Huagu Opera is a small folk opera in southern Hunan Province and it has more than 200 years of history. It has close relationship with the Lantern Fair, Tea Plucking and Nuo Dance and it is the diligent and wisdom crystallization of the working people. Hengzhou Huagu Opera is not only popular in the southern Hunan hut also in other areas and counties of the outside provinces and it also could be found its traces in the areas of Shaoguan, Lechang and Pingshi of northern Guangdong province. From 1950 to 1980, troupes of Hengzhou Hua Opera have created and revised 257 plays and performed formally. It has played a very positive role in the social development and satisfied greatly the cultural needs of the urban and rural people.
