论陈寅恪文史研究以“中唐”为中心的原因

An Analysis of the Reasons for Chen Yin-que's Research into Literature and History in the Mid Tang Dynasty

中唐是中国文化史上"轴心时代"之"轴心",宋代以来中国经济文化中心由北方向南方的转移、士族升降等许多重要文化现象都与中唐有关,中国近世文化的源头与动力都来自中唐,因此中唐社会历史文化的重大变化及其对宋代之后社会文化的重要影响引起了陈寅恪先生的高度重视。陈寅恪父祖生活的咸同之世和中唐都是一个社会变革时期,陈寅恪父祖的遭遇和中唐士人的遭遇有某种一致之处,因此陈寅恪欲以中唐文史研究来寄寓对自己家族不幸遭遇的悲愤之情。

The Mid Tang Dynasty is the axis of the axial age in Chinese cultural history. Many important cultural phenomea which indicated the movement of Chinese economic and cultural center from North to South and the gradual decline of noble position all happened in the Mid Tang Dynasty. The source and power of modern Chinese culture come from the Mid Tang Dynasty. These cultural phenomena attracted Chen Yin-que＇s attention. The end of the Qing Dynasty that Chen Yin-que＇s father and grandfather lived and the Mid Tang Dynasty are both a period of social transformation. Chen Yin-que＇s father and grandfather＇s experience with scholars of the Tang Dynasty have many similarities. Chen Yin-que wanted to express his emotion to his father and grandfather in this study. The cultural and academic background of the end of the Qing Dynasty has similarities to that of the Mid Tang Dynasty
