胰岛β细胞功能缺陷是导致糖尿病发生的重要病理生理机制。测定β细胞的分泌功能对了解糖尿病的发生、发展,预测糖尿病的预后及制订合适的治疗方案非常重要。胰岛β细胞功能评估方法及指标众多,各有优缺点;加之胰岛素分泌方式具有复杂性,糖尿病不同阶段β细胞功能又有不同特点,均给β细胞功能评估工作带来困难。该文就各种β细胞功能评估方法及相关指标在临床及科研中的应用进行综述,并提出了合理应用评估方法的建议。

Islet β-cell functional defect is one of the most important pathophysiologieal mechanisms of diabetes. Measuring insulin secreting function plays a vital role in understanding the occurrence and develop- ment of diabetes, predicting the prognosis, and developing a proper treatment plan. There are pros and cons in numerous assessment methods and indices of β-cell function. In adition to the complexity of insulin secretion, β-cell function has different features in different stages of diabetes, both of which make it difficult to evaluate β-cell function. Here is to make a review of the application of various assessment methods and indices in clinical and research, and offer adviees for reasonable application of the methods.
