This paper introduces the difference between the calculation results and the actual situations of simulation software for heavy forging. The reasons for the difference are studied and analyzed based on the basic principal of computer simulation and the manufacturing characteristics of heavy forging etc. The detailed suggestions are provided to solve the problem.
