Necessity of Advancing Quality Promotion Project Concerning Undergraduate Party Members

大学生党员是党员队伍中最活跃的群体。他们整体素质高,思想积极健康,但部分学生对党员身份及其价值认识存在功利化倾向,理想信念模糊,集体主义意识淡化,未能充分发挥党员先锋模范作用。要解决这些问题,必须增强中国特色社会主义价值体系对大学生党员的指导性,发挥思想政治教育工作的实效性、先锋模范人物的示范性和党支部工作的引领性。

Undergraduate party members are the most dynamic group within the Communist Party of China. Despite their education background and positive thinking, some of them are found to have utilitarian understanding about their party member identity, indistinct convictions and desalinating collectivism consciousness, which prevent them from fulfilling their exemplary roles. To solve these problems, the article suggests that the guidance from the socialist value system with Chinese characteristics and the effectiveness of the ideological and political education should be enhanced, to which exemplary characters and party branches should contribute in particular.
