女性阅读与图书馆服务探微

Research on the female reading and library service

阅读是获取信息和促进人类文明进步的方式之一,女性阅读自古有之,但一直不受重视。随着女性社会地位的提高,女性阅读活动成为业界关注的热点。文章探讨了女性阅读的特点,分析了女性阅读的现状,以及图书馆关注女性阅读的必要性,并在此基础上对图书馆为女性读者服务提出若干建议。

Reading has always been regarded as one of channels to obtain information and promote progress of human civilization. Although female reading came into being from the ancient times,but it has never been paid enough attention to. With the enhancement of their social status,female reading has now aroused concern in the library circle. The article makes an analysis of the current situation and characteristics of the female reading, probes into the necessity for the library authorities to keep an eye on the female reading. Some suggestions about the female readers＇ service are also presented in this article.
