Based on Chinese academic literature online publishing pool and Chinese Citation Database, this paper makes citation analysis on papers published in the journal of Salt and Chemical Industry during 2006 to 2012 from four aspects ： citations, author, organization and high citation pa- per, provides information for development strategy of the periodical.
