The highway alignment selection and layout is the first step in the design stage of highway project,its reasonableness has a direct impact on the subsequent design process, thus the alignment work of highway design is especially important.In combination with the status quo of forest highway design,this article summarized and concluded the basic steps, principles and methods of reasonable alignment in forest highway design, and with old road reconstruction project of Great Guilin Forestry Farm as an example, it described the precautions of reasonable forest highway alignment.
