"无厘头"电影作为一个词语或一个概念,在多种语境下被言说、被讨论,甚至在不同的层面被界定,有人认为它是某种创作流派或风格,有人认为它是一种喜剧类型。"无厘头"电影发轫于表演风格,渐成为香港喜剧电影中特有的亚类型,同时"无厘头"电影本身的内涵特质与后现代思潮接轨,成为对华语地区特别是大陆地区影响颇大的一种次文化现象。

As a word or a concept, Wulitou comedy film has been referred or discussed in many types of language environments. It is even defined at different levels. Some consider it as a school of creation; some think it is a kind of comedy; some take it for a cultural phenomenon, and so on. Then the question is how to position it. First, the author believes Wulitou film is a performance style; then it is a specific subtype among Hong Kong comedy films. At the same time, the meanings and traits of Wulitou film are inline with the post - modern trend of thoughts, becoming a phenomenon of subculture which has great impact on Chinese area especially the mainland.
