从《京华烟云》看林语堂对中国文化的传译策略

On the Translation of Culture Information Based on Moment in Peking

林语堂一生最主要的贡献在于向西方社会传播中国文化,他以著书或译书的形式实现"对外讲中"的目的。本文以林语堂的英文长篇小说《京华烟云》为例,分析林语堂对中国文化的传播与翻译策略,以期对今天的对外翻译实践有所启示。

Lin Yutang＇s main contribution is introducing Chinese culture to the western readers through writing or translating. This paper takes his first English novel Moment in Peking as an example to analyze the strategies he used to translate culture information. By using these strategies, the culture information is expressed appropriately.
