小学英语课外活动与英语教师的专业发展

On Pupils' Extracurricular English Activities and English Teachers' Career Development

对在重庆第二师范学院参加"国培计划——中小学英语骨干教师研修项目"的学员进行调查的结果表明,小学英语教师大都已经认识到英语课外活动的重要性,但对其教学内容、教学系统等还存在一些偏差和问题。如何克服这些困难和因素,帮助小学英语教师完善小学英语课外活动,提高其专业发展,成为当前教改研究的重中之重。

By investigating the primary school English teachers who joined in ＂National Training Plan-Leading English Teacher＇s Training Project＂in Chongqing Second Normal College, it shows that, most primary school English teachers realize the importance of carrying out the extracurricular activities, but they hold different views on the teaching content and mode. It is no easy task to carry out extracurricular English activities among pupils. Hence, it is the most important issue in the present teaching reform how to overcome these difficulties so as to help primary school English teachers improve their career development.
