The compulsory education in Shaan-Gan-Ning border region during the period of Yanan was developed during the Anti Japanese War. Its features are clear goals, fast speed and large scale. Through designating the area, making clear the management organization and responsibility and consolidating the education timely, the compulsory education was ensured to be implemented smoothly.
