Exploration and Practice of Introduction of “Fluid Mechanics” in English Teaching

引进国际知名大学高水平课程是培养高水平国际化人才的重要途径。介绍了新加坡国立大学《Fluid Mechanics》课程的引进情况,对该课程在新加坡国立大学的教学情况和教学特点进行了深入的分析。针对中国大学的特点和学生情况,对该课程在国内大学的实施进行了探索,连续三届教学实践证明该课程的引进是成功的,学生也有很高的满意度,达到了预期的效果。

Introduction of the international well-known high level course is an important approach to cultivate high level international talents. This paper introduces the situation of introducing《Fluid Mechanics》from the National University of Singapore in detail,analyzes the teaching characteristic to the course deeply,and according to the characteristics of Chinese universities and students,explores the implementation for the course to the domestic university beneficially. It is proved that introducing the course is successful through three years teaching practices. The students are satisfied and the expected effect is achieved.
