在知识经济越来越重要的今天,地方高等教育服务区域社会已转变为地方高校办学的一个重要方向,地方高校继续教育体系更是地方高校服务社会的一个重要桥梁和纽带。对于地方高校来说,办好继续教育,不但有利于发挥优势、突出特长、创建自己的特色,而且也是立足地方、面向基层,适应当地需要、以贡献求支持、以服务求发展的不可或缺的职能行为。

At the time that Knowledge Economy is playing a more and more important role, it has become one key direction that local higher schools serve local society, and continuing education of local schools turns to be one important bridge and link.
