Research on the Privatization of Malaysian Higher Education

20世纪90年代中期,马来西亚开始着力发展私立高等教育,并颁布与实施了一系列有关高等教育私有化的政策法规,力图通过立法,明确私立高等教育机构的合法身份,实现政府的权力让渡,规范和强化质量控制,促进公立大学企业化,强化国家认同,保证教育公平,为私立高等教育合法合规地发展提供政策支撑。

Since mid of 1990 s, Malaysia began to put efforts into the development of private higher education . Therefore , Malaysia has enacted and implemented a series of acts for the privatization of higher education .Passing legislation ensures the legal identity of private higher education , realizes the alienability of power , specifies and strengthens quality control , promotes the enterprization of public universities , strengthens the national identity , en-sures the equity of education and so on .,in order to provide policy support for private higher education .
