川北道的辖区与职能演变

On the Evolution of Chuanbei Dao's Administrative Scope and Functions

川北道是元、明、清诸朝和民国时期于四川东北部设置的一个行政区划,其兴设、裁撤、复设、再裁撤,历程曲折,反映出川北地区的治乱兴衰和国家的治理方略,以此为个案的研究,实有益于加深对政区地理与国家治理方略的理解。

As an administrative area instituted in the northeastern Sichuan during Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties and the Republic of China, Chuangbei Dao experienced such processes as establishment, dissolution, re-establish- ment, and re-dissolution, reflecting the vicissitudes of local administrative affairs and Chinese national governance strategy in general. With reference to the specific cases, this paper aims to further the understanding of the geo- graphical features of administrative division and Chinese national governance strategy.
