Pathology of Oxytropis glacialis Poisoning in Goats

8只杂种奶山羊 ,按每日每千克体重 1 0 g的剂量饲喂冰川棘豆 ( Oxytropis glacialis)草粉 ,第 2 5天起 ,出现以中枢神经系统机能紊乱为特征的中毒症状。病理组织学检查 ,心、肝、脾、肺、肾、脑、卵巢等组织发生空泡变性 ,空泡变性普遍而且严重 ,并且观察到淋巴结和脾脏中巨噬细胞胞核空泡变性 ,淋巴细胞胞核淡染 ,呈空泡样。肝、肾、脑组织电镜观察 ,病理变化以空泡变性为主 ,细胞中线粒体肿胀、空泡化 ,粗面内织网断裂 。

Eight goats were fed with the diet addited with Oxytropis glacialis (10 g/(kg·d -1 ).After 25th day,the goats appeared toxic signs of CNS disorder.Histopathological changes showed that heart,liver,spleen,lung,kidney,brain and other viscera were vacuolation which was common and serious.It was found for the first time that histiocytic nucleus were vacuolated,the lymphocytic nucleus were faintly dyed and vacuolation occured in the liver and lymph node by microscopic observations.The electron microscopical observation showed that main histopathological changes were vacuolation in cellular plasma.Along with swollen mitochondria,the vacuolated as well as broken endoplasm reticulum and lysosome was increased.
