近年来,中国经济的高速发展以及俄罗斯经济形势的好转,特别是中俄人文合作委员会旅游分委会的运行以及两国互办"旅游年"活动为中俄旅游合作提供了诸多契机。中俄旅游资源丰富,互补性强,两国都拥有巨大的旅游客源市场,合作前景广阔。加强中俄间旅游合作,势必在促进两国旅游经济增长的同时,带动两国经贸、政治、文化等领域的深层次合作,增进相互了解和信任,有利于维护地区稳定。
