On the basis of presenting a scientific definition of the meaning of low-medium-high yield cropland for Xingcheng City, this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the main obstacle factors for the area of low yielding fields, and explores measures for the improvement of low yielding fields from the perspectives of agricultural engineering measures, soil fertilization, acidic soil improvement, and the cultivated land fertility publicity and training in an effort to provide useful reference for thetransformation of the medium low yield farmland in Xingcheng city.
