in light of the climatic characteristics of Fuxin, the soil fertility status and production situation, such water-saving and high-yield cultivation techniques are widely applied in Fumeng County, including promotion of drought resistant varieties, use of organic fertilizers and plastic film mulching, shallow cultivation, application of water holding agent, and pumping well matching , in order to im-prove the using rate of natural precipitation and land output rate in Fumeng County and increase the yield of Maize in the region, and promote the the development of maize industry in Fumeng County.
