The transfer of rural surplus labor is the major strategic issue related to China＆#39;s economic and social development. This paper examines the current situation of rural surplus labor force in China, describes the characteristics and difficulties of China＆#39;s rural labor force transfer, and puts forward specific measures and suggestions on the issue of transfer of rural surplus labor in a bid to provide refer-ence for accelerating the process of urbanization of rural areas in China and increasing the income of farmers.
