Development of automobile seat cover fabric with multi-function of formaldehyde elimination and antifouling effects

Through multi-functional finishing using antifouling agent and formaldehyde scavenger, a kind of automobile seat cover fabric with multi-function of formaldehyde elimination and antifouling effect was developed. The water-proof and oil-proof level of this multi-functional fabric can reach 7 grades, respectively. Within 24 h, more than 90% indoor formaldehyde in 1.5 square meters of space can be eliminated for 3 square meters of this fabric. Effects of antifouling agent and formaldehyde scavenger amounts were discussed. Formaldehyde elimination property was investigated in detail.
