摘要
当代大学生思辨能力缺失的现象普遍存在。而且由于语言的障碍,在英语的教学中,教师发现学习者思辨能力缺失的现象更加突出。如何在教学中培养和提高学生的思辨能力是目前极为重要的一个课题。思辨能力的教学形式分为两类:一是独立式,二是依托式。依托式教学法可以将思辨能力的培养与某学科的学习有机结合。在大学英语教学中,以讲授英美文学知识为载体,培养学生独立分析问题和解决问题的能力,通过潜移默化的教学来提高学生的思辨能力,是一种行之有效的方法。因此,本文在充分分析学生思辨能力缺失的成因后,尝试通过改进英美文学的教学目标,教学方法和评价体系来培养和提高大学生的思辨能力。
Nowadays, the absence of college students ’ critical thinking is common.It is because of language barriers that it is more serious when teaching English.Therefore, improving college English learners ’ critical thinking has become an important subject of English teaching and research.The teaching forms of critical thinking can be divided into two kinds.One is independent teaching;the other is content-based instruction.Content-based instruction can effectively combine Cultivating College Students ’ Critical Thinking with teach-ing one course.This teaching form , while teaching English-American literature , can train college students ’ ability to analyze and solve the problem independently in order to gradually improve college English learners ’ critical thinking.This paper , after analyzing the reasons why critical thinking of college English learners has been absent , tries to train college English learners ’ critical thinking from improving teaching object , teaching method and evaluation system of English American Literature course.
