The PI3K-Akt-mTOR pathway is composed of phosphatidyl-inositol-3-kinase (PI3K), Ser/Thr kinase Akt and mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR). It is an important signal transduction pathway in cells. The disorder of PI3K-Akt-mTOR pathway could lead to some diseases, including cancer, neuropathy, autoimmune disease, as well as diseases of hematological and lymphatic system. Recently, PI3K-Akt-mTOR pathway has been paid much attention in pharmaceutical field. The intelligence of PI3K-Akt-mTOR pathway, including mechanism, research progress of the related drugs, indication, originator, deals, patents and references, have been analyzed by Thomson Reuters Integrity and Cortellis for Competitive Intelligence.
