Standard for American Outstanding Teachers and its Enlightenment on China's Education Reform——A Case Study in Music Teacher Training

美国国家专业教学标准委员会制定优秀音乐教师标准的颁布,使美国音乐教师的能力和专业发展取得令人瞩目的成绩,是美国音乐教育走向世界级水平的有力依托。我国正处于深化教育改革时期,文章对这一标准的内容解读和分析,以期为构建我国优秀音乐教师标准,推动新时期音乐教育的发展,探寻可供借鉴的成功经验。

The promulgation of the Standard of Excellent Music Teachers promulgated by American National Board for Pro- fessional Teaching Standards, has lead to remarkable achievements for the professional abilities and personal development of music teacher in the United States, and become a strong support for the American music education to reach the world--class level. As China is in a period of deepening education reform, the article offers an interpretation and analysis of the contents of this standard, in order to build our excellent music teacher standards, and promote the development of music education in the new era, with explorations of successful experience for reference.
