On the Internationalization of Chinese Linguistics

中国语言学要发展,要无愧于我们这个伟大的时代,必须把握机遇,制定长远规划,走国际化的道路。文章从中国语言学的国际化应具备的基本特征、应遵循的指导原则和应把握的工作重点三个方面对中国语言学的国际化加以构思,希冀回答"中国语言学的未来在哪里?"这样一个极具时代特征的语言学话题。

Only by way of internationalization can we achieve more progress in Chinese linguistics, which means all opportunities that present themselves in this great era are to be seized and relevant long-term plans to be drawn. This paper proposes the internationalization of Chinese linguistics from three perspectives, namely, main features, guiding principles and priorities of work, with a view to answering this linguistic ques-tion characteristic of the times：where is the future of Chinese linguistics？
