摘要
目的探讨COX-2在食管癌中的表达以及与食管癌临床病理特征的关系。方法应用免疫组织化学方法(SP法),检测COX-1,COX-2在24例食管癌中的表达。结果 COX-2在食管癌中的表达率为91.7%,主要为癌组织的表达,而在癌旁正常组织中无表达或弱表达。COX-2的高表达与淋巴结的转移有关(t= 5.05,P<0.05),而与年龄(t=0.44)、性别(t=0.51)、癌肿的大小(t=0.53)、浸润深度(t=0.11)、分化程度(t=0.82)及临床病理分期(t=0.71)均无关(P>0.05)。结论食管癌中COX-2的高度表达与食管癌的发生、发展及淋巴结转移有关,提示COX-2选择性抑制剂是防治食管癌的可行途径之一。
AIM To study the expression of COX-I and COX-2 in esophageal carcinoma and its relation to clinicopathologic characteristic. METHODS Twenty-four cases of esophageal carcinoma were studied by immunohistochemical method. RESULTS The positive rates of COX-2 expression in esophageal carcinoma were 91.7%. But there was no expression in noncancerous specimens of esophagus except one metastasized esophageal carcinoma. There was no difference of expression of COX-1 between carcinoma and noncancerous specimens. Overexpression of COX-2 in esophageal carcinoma was related to its lymph node metastasis and invasion (t= 5.05, P<0.05), but it did not correlate with age (t=0.44), gender (t=0.51), tumor size (t=0.53), depth of invasion (t=0.11), differentiation degree (t=(0.82), and pathologic grading (t=(0.71)(P>0.05). CONCLUSION The overexpression of COX-2 in esophageal carcinoma may play a crucial role in the carcinogenesis and development of cancer and lymphatic metastasis in patients with esophageal carcinoma, indicating that COX-2 may provide a target for chemopreventive strategies for esophageal carcinoma.
